3 Days of Clay & Play!

Overview

Our March Clay Camp is thoughtfully designed to introduce children to the art of hand-building with clay, guiding them through various techniques like pinching, coiling, sculpting, and decorating. Each session offers a unique, hands-on experience that encourages creativity, focus, and self-expression – all while having fun!

Small group – max 8 kids per camp for personal guidance.\nDates: 16-18 Mar\nTime: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily (Lunch Included: 1:00 – 2:00 PM)\nAge Group: 7-12 years old

The camp runs at Heppi Pottery Studio in Bukit Timah, Singapore, with small-group guidance and hands-on clay projects each day.

Camp Itinerary

Day 1: Into the Wild – Nature & Clay

Leaf Plate Making: Learn pinching and moulding techniques to create a unique leaf plate using real leaves for texture and decoration.
Mini Planter: Coil and shape your very own clay planter, complete with a drainage hole – perfect for little plants!
Afternoon Paint Time: Add colour to your creations with ceramic-safe paints.

Day 2: Art Masters in Clay

Picasso Portraits: Create your very own abstract self-portrait using clay, just like Picasso would!
Van Gogh Sunflowers: Craft a sunflower plaque inspired by Van Gogh, using clay and slip to bring your piece to life.
Afternoon Paint Time: Brighten up your masterpieces with your favourite colours.

Day 3: Imagine & Create – Your Own Clay Masterpiece

Sketch & Plan: Use everything you've learned to design your own project – it can be anything you dream up!
Build Your Masterpiece: Bring your ideas to life using all the clay techniques from Days 1 & 2.
Afternoon Paint Time: Finish your final piece with beautiful colours to take home.
